Summary
Lead and oversee the e-commerce copywriting and translation teams to ensure consistent brand voice, quality, and timely delivery of content for the online store. Manage workflows, SLAs, freelance relationships, and collaborate with merchandising and marketing to deliver integrated digital content and creative solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee copywriting and translation teams in writing and proofing product and marketing content while maintaining ownership of a portfolio
- Ensure SLAs and onboarding KPIs are met and resolve copy and translation inaccuracies
- Liaise with merchants and internal teams to clarify content requirements and conduct research
- Maintain tracking and reporting related to copywriting and translation within onboarding processes
- Forecast resource needs and collaborate with Senior Manager of eCommerce Operations on staffing
- Manage freelance contractors including workflow, timelines, invoices, and quality review
- Provide creative support to Omnichannel and partner with Digital Marketing and Online Merchandising teams
- Develop SEO-optimized brand biographies, category copy, and online messaging for digital programs
- Champion continuous improvement in writing quality and content processes
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of copywriting experience, preferably digital
- Post graduate degree or diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
- Proven people management experience with 3+ years supervisory or management experience
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, service-oriented, and adaptable to ambiguity and change
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience or background in SEO is an asset
- Bilingual French oral and written is an asset
- Passion for fashion and luxury retailing
