Responsibilities- Supervise and schedule a team of Loss Prevention Investigators to ensure adequate coverage and completion of duties.
- Generate, analyze, and communicate reports related to stock shortage performance and fraud prevention.
- Review inventory accuracy and shortage controls to determine risk exposures and provide recommendations.
- Communicate store audit results to management to address operational opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety functions and complete incident reports and training.
- Collaborate with store teams to communicate Loss Prevention directives and Merchandise Protection Standards.
- Partner with Store Operations on inventory cycle counts and stock loss investigations.
- Oversee review of exception-based reports to identify policy infractions and initiate investigations.
- Conduct internal and external Loss Prevention investigations with law enforcement.
- Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Ensure compliance with privacy policies and cyber security measures.
Requirements- Degree or diploma in Law Enforcement or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum three years of progressive Loss Prevention experience in a high-volume retail environment.
- Proven leadership capabilities with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Formal training in WZ interview techniques or related interviewing techniques.
- Experience leading change in a rapidly growing business environment.
- Current Provincial Security Guard License.
- Standard First Aid, CPR OPA Level II certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and system-based tools.
