Summary
The Specialized Operations Supervisor leads and trains the General Office Jewelry and Returns Desk teams, ensuring daily operational execution, financial reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and high customer service standards. This role supports the Assistant General Manager Operations and partners with corporate teams to implement policies and improve processes while assisting on the sales floor as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate store opening tasks including safe controller and register setup and report distribution
- Supervise SOA team duties such as cash entry, bank deposits, chargeback reconciliation and petty cash counts
- Train staff on Jewelry Standards Shipping Guidelines and oversee jewelry receiving booking and inventory accuracy
- Manage processing of re-tickets returns to vendor transfers ASN shipments and price changes
- Oversee returns desk operations including resolving customer issues scheduling and transfer compliance
- Maintain and audit repair logs track repairs and submit repair invoices
- Prepare and verify merchandise for trunk shows and manage consignment lifecycle
- Support internal audit readiness monitor vault safe contents and ensure compliance with audit standards
- Coach associates assist management with hiring firing promotions and cross functional training
Requirements
- Proven ability to drive profitability through execution of SOA KPIs
- Comfortable with real time coaching and working closely with associates store leadership and corporate partners
- Ability to multi task in a fast paced team oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Flexible schedule availability and dependable attendance
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs climb ladders and handle racks and carts of merchandise
- Strong computer skills including Google and MS Office and adaptability to changing technology
- Attention to detail and organized personal workspace
