Supply Chain Distribution Planning Manager

Summary

The Supply Chain Distribution Planning Manager will manage inventory and distribution for an assigned product category and region across the Americas, optimizing stock to support commercial goals and minimize depreciation. The role partners with Merchandising, Logistics, Retail, and central Supply Chain teams to balance distribution strategy with sales opportunities and drive operational excellence. The position is based in Midtown Manhattan and requires four days per week on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory levels for an assigned product category and designated region to maximize sales and reduce depreciation.
• Optimize inventory allocation and execute stock rebalancing across regional stores.
• Monitor order fulfillment and provide clear visibility and recommendations to Retail teams.
• Develop ad hoc tools, reports, and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and SQL to improve decision making.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Logistics, Operations, and central Supply Chain on cross-functional initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement, adhere to supply chain standard operating procedures, and support change management projects.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in distribution, allocation, or supply chain, preferably in a luxury or fashion environment.
• Strong data analysis and business intelligence skills with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and SQL; Python is a plus.
• Commercial mindset with excellent communication, organizational, project-management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and manage regional store inventory priorities.
• Ability to work on site in Midtown Manhattan four days per week.
