Supply Chain Transformation Intern

Summary

Internship role supporting supply chain distribution planning and analytics based in Midtown Manhattan. The intern will develop analytical tools and automated reports to improve visibility for new product launches and identify causes of overstock to drive data informed inventory decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical tools to provide distribution visibility for new product launches
• Create tools to monitor and analyze root causes of overstock situations
• Design and implement automated reporting systems to alert distribution managers of high overstock products
• Establish Power BI workspace guidelines including access control and report creation
• Spearhead migration of analytical tools to a centralized data semantic model
• Provide ad hoc analytical support to address critical business questions
• Collaborate cross functionally with internal and external partners

Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in a related field
• Proficiency in Power BI and data analytics
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities
• Detail oriented with clear communication skills
• Willingness to work on site 4 to 5 days per week in Midtown Manhattan
