Supply Chain Transformation Intern

Summary

Intern position supporting supply chain analytics and distribution planning in a corporate office. The role focuses on developing analytical tools and automated reporting to improve distribution visibility for product launches and reduce overstock. Candidates will work with Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Python while collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop analytical tool to provide distribution planners visibility into new product launches
• Create tool to monitor and analyze root causes of overstock situations
• Design and implement automated reporting to alert distribution managers of high overstock products
• Establish Power BI workspace management guidelines and access controls
• Spearhead migration of analytical tools to a centralized data semantic model
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to address critical business questions
• Collaborate cross functionally with internal and external partners

Requirements

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in related field
• Available full time for a 6-month duration and able to start ASAP
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Proficiency in Power BI and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SQL and Python
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work 4 to 5 days per week on site in Midtown Manhattan
