Summary

The Tailor/Fitter provides customers with quality garment fittings and alterations. This role delivers friendly, professional service while meeting productivity goals and Nordstrom service standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers, fit garments, and mark areas requiring alteration.
• Complete fittings and sewing alterations on time while following service standards and procedures.
• Use store technology to organize customer alteration needs and meet productivity goals.
• Educate customers and employees on fit, style, garment construction, and trends.
• Collaborate with the Alterations and Store teams.

Requirements

• Two to three years of fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience preferred.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Learn and safely operate sewing, pressing, and alterations equipment.
• Be willing to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
