Responsibilities

• Measure customers and record alteration specifications
• Perform alterations and repairs such as hemming, resizing, and seam adjustments
• Operate industrial sewing machines, sergers, and pressing equipment
• Conduct fittings and advise customers on fit and garment construction
• Maintain alteration tickets, track orders, and manage workshop supplies

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional tailoring or alterations experience
• Proficiency with industrial sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and alteration methods
• Excellent customer service, communication skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
