Job Description

Summary

Provide high quality tailoring and fitting services to customers by measuring, fitting, marking, and completing alterations in a timely manner while maintaining store standards and collaborating with the alterations and store team.

Responsibilities

  • Measure customers for size and fit and mark garments for alterations
  • Perform customer fittings and complete sewing alterations according to guidelines
  • Meet department and individual productivity goals
  • Utilize store technology to manage customer alteration needs
  • Deliver excellent customer service through teamwork and collaboration
  • Educate customers and employees on fit, style, construction, and trends
  • Safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and alterations equipment

Requirements

  • Previous fitting tailoring and sewing experience, preferred minimum of 2 years
  • Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
  • Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and safely operate alterations equipment
  • Flexibility to work a schedule based on business needs
