Summary

Provide skilled tailoring and fitting services to deliver high-quality garment alterations and exceptional customer service. Measure and fit customers, perform alterations using sewing and pressing machinery, and manage alteration orders while maintaining department productivity and standards. Work collaboratively with the store team to educate customers and support a positive retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size, fit garments, and mark areas requiring alterations.
• Perform and complete customer fittings and sewing alterations on time per guidelines and standards.
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration requests and orders.
• Meet department and individual productivity goals while following proper processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Alterations and store team and educate customers and coworkers on fit, style, and construction.

Requirements

• Previous fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience; preferred minimum of 2-3 years.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to stay organized, prioritize multiple tasks, and manage customer requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment.
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs.
