Summary

Provide expert tailoring and fittings to deliver high quality alterations and exceptional customer service. Perform measurements, fittings, and alterations using standard sewing and pressing machinery while meeting department productivity goals and following company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and fit garments on customers
• Mark and perform alterations and complete customer fittings on time
• Sew alterations following company guidelines and service standards
• Meet department and individual productivity goals
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs
• Collaborate with the Alterations and Store Team to deliver customer expectations
• Educate customers and employees on fit style construction and trends

Requirements

• Previous fitting tailoring and sewing experience minimum of 2 years preferred
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery and equipment
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs
