Summary

The Tailor/Fitter provides high quality alterations and fittings to deliver excellent customer service, following store guidelines and maintaining productivity and organization. The role measures and fits customers, completes alterations and uses store technology to manage alteration needs while collaborating with the alterations and store team.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and fit garments on customers
• Mark areas requiring alterations and perform sewing alterations
• Complete customer fittings on time according to store guidelines and service standards
• Meet department and individual productivity goals
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork and collaboration within the Alterations and Store Team
• Educate customers and employees on proper fit style construction and trend

Requirements

• Previous fitting tailoring and sewing experience preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment
• Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs
