Summary

Provide expert tailoring and fitting services to customers by measuring, fitting, and altering garments to meet quality and service standards while using store technology to manage alteration requests. Meet productivity goals, collaborate with the alterations and store teams, and educate customers and colleagues on fit and construction in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers and fit garments to determine alteration needs
• Perform and complete alterations and customer fittings on time per guidelines
• Sew and press garments using standard alterations equipment and machinery
• Use store technology to manage and organize customer alteration orders
• Meet department and individual productivity goals while following processes
• Collaborate with the Alterations and Store Team to deliver customer expectations
• Educate customers and employees on proper fit, style, and construction

Requirements

• 2 years minimum tailoring, fitting, and sewing experience preferred
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery
• Flexible availability to work schedules based on business needs
