Summary

Alterations associate responsible for measuring fitting and performing garment alterations and customizations to meet customer expectations. Role is on-site reporting to the Alterations Manager and supports resizing and restyling merchandise for the store.

Responsibilities

• Measure and fit garments to achieve customer expectations
• Perform alterations and customizations on a variety of merchandise
• Operate sewing machines and perform hand sewing methods
• Provide accurate details on service fees and lead times
• Manage and prioritize alteration workflow and orders
• Ensure attention to detail and quality control for finished work
• Communicate with customers about fit and alteration needs

Requirements

• Prior functional and technical alteration skills
• Experience operating sewing machines
• Proven ability to measure and fit garments
• Process management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with store team
