Summary

Provide professional tailoring and fitting services to customers, performing measurements, fittings, and garment alterations to meet quality and service standards while supporting department productivity and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and fit garments on customers
• Mark areas requiring alterations and perform sewing alterations
• Complete customer fittings and alterations on time per company guidelines
• Meet department and individual productivity goals
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork and collaboration
• Educate customers and employees on fit, style, construction, and trends

Requirements

• 2 years minimum tailoring fitting and sewing experience preferred
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing pressing machinery and standard alterations equipment
• Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs
