Tailor

As a Tailor at Holt Renfrew, you will be responsible for fitting, pinning, marking, and altering garments to meet client specifications. You will work in a fashion-driven environment, collaborating with Sales Associates to ensure client satisfaction and delivering completed garments on time.

• Measure clients to determine scope of work.
• Pin and mark garments according to fabric type to ensure correct fit.
• Complete alterations to the highest technical standard.
• Deliver completed garments on or before the promised date.
• Inform clients of alteration charges as per the current price list.
• Confirm and communicate promise date for completed alterations.
• Provide expert guidance on cut and fit.
• Maintain a clean and orderly department.
• Comply with Health & Safety policies and privacy regulations.

• Tailoring or seamstress technical training or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Experience in altering luxury fabrications.
• Ability to communicate comfortably in English and/or French.
