The Tailor Fitter provides high quality alterations and fittings to deliver excellent customer service at the NYC flagship. Responsibilities include measuring customers, fitting garments, performing alterations, and using store technology to manage alteration requests while supporting department productivity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and mark garments for alterations
• Fit garments on customers and perform sewing alterations
• Complete customer fittings and alterations on time
• Meet department and individual productivity goals
• Utilize store technology to manage customer alteration needs
• Collaborate with the Alterations and Store Team to deliver customer expectations
• Educate customers and employees on fit, style, and garment construction

Requirements

• Previous fitting tailoring and sewing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery
• Ability to embrace a flexible working schedule based on business needs
