Summary
Provide high quality alterations and tailoring of garments to Ralph Lauren standards while delivering exceptional client service. Work collaboratively with sales staff during fittings, maintain accuracy in garment handling and documentation, and adhere to workroom health and safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy in garment markings following company practice
- Build rapport with clients and identify alteration needs to deliver exceptional experiences
- Partner with sales professionals during fittings to provide excellent service
- Contribute to team productivity and meet personal productivity objectives
- Handle and maintain garments with care and respect
- Accurately enter information into alterations tracker and workflow systems
- Communicate product and customer feedback to managers
- Adhere to all workroom health and safety requirements
Requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team oriented environment
- Experience operating tailoring machinery and performing alterations; luxury tailoring experience preferred
- Ability to mentor or train others in a technical capacity preferred
- Ability to maneuver around sales floor and work areas and lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, move, and walk for multiple hours
