Tailor

Summary

As a Tailor you will perform precise alterations and adjustments to men’s garments to ensure excellent fit and finish. You will collaborate with sales associates and store management while maintaining a well-organized tailor shop. High attention to detail and strong craftsmanship will support an elevated in-store customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations on suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers, including sleeve and trouser length, tapering, and waist adjustments.
• Accurately mark garments and execute alterations to meet company fit and quality standards.
• Collaborate with sales associates to confirm proper sizing and alteration recommendations for customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and functional tailor shop and equipment.
• Deliver timely, professional customer service and manage multiple alteration orders efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in garment alterations, preferably in men’s tailoring or formalwear.
• Proficiency in sewing techniques and operation of tailoring machines and basic equipment.
• Strong understanding of fabric properties, garment construction, and color perception.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
