Job Description

Summary

Perform expert alterations on men’s suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers to ensure an excellent fit and elevated customer experience. Collaborate with store management and sales associates while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and service.

Responsibilities

  • Complete garment alterations, including sleeve and trouser adjustments, tapering, collar adjustments, and waist alterations.
  • Mark garments accurately and ensure alterations meet quality standards for fit and finish.
  • Work with sales associates on customer sizing and garment recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized tailor shop and keep equipment in good working order.
  • Deliver timely alterations and high-level customer service.

Requirements

  • Previous garment alteration experience, preferably in men’s tailoring or formalwear.
  • Proficiency in sewing techniques and basic tailoring equipment and machines.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and color perception.
  • Strong organization, planning, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
