Provide high-quality tailoring and fitting services to customers, measuring and fitting garments, performing alterations, and maintaining service standards while supporting department productivity and customer expectations.
Responsibilities
- Measure customers for size and fit garments for alterations
- Perform and complete customer fittings and sewing alterations on time
- Mark areas requiring alterations and follow established guidelines and standards
- Meet department and individual productivity goals
- Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs
- Collaborate with the Alterations and Store Team to deliver customer expectations
- Educate customers and employees on proper fit, style, construction, and trends
Requirements
- Previous fitting tailoring and sewing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
- Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing pressing machinery and alterations equipment
- Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs
- Ability to meet productivity expectations while maintaining quality
