Summary

Provide high-quality tailoring and fitting services to customers, measuring and fitting garments, performing alterations, and maintaining service standards while supporting department productivity and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and fit garments for alterations
• Perform and complete customer fittings and sewing alterations on time
• Mark areas requiring alterations and follow established guidelines and standards
• Meet department and individual productivity goals
• Utilize store technology to manage and organize customer alteration needs
• Collaborate with the Alterations and Store Team to deliver customer expectations
• Educate customers and employees on proper fit, style, construction, and trends

Requirements

• Previous fitting tailoring and sewing experience, preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing pressing machinery and alterations equipment
• Flexibility to work a variable schedule based on business needs
• Ability to meet productivity expectations while maintaining quality
