Team Lead - Manufacturing

As a Team Lead in Manufacturing, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Supervisor and overseeing a team of Lab Technicians. You will be responsible for training group members, resolving issues, and contributing to performance management in a fast-paced production environment.

• Support the Supervisor in overseeing a team of 45 Lab Technicians.
• Act as a resource for training and resolving issues within the team.
• Contribute to interviewing candidates and providing feedback.
• Support performance management and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
• Adapt to ongoing changes and excel in a dynamic environment.
• Manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years of related work experience in production or distribution.
• Experience in optical lab settings and optical finishing preferred.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to keep the team on track.
• High mechanical aptitude and professionalism.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and decimal sequencing.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Willingness to work with and around chemicals.
• Ability to lift and move up to 15 lbs. regularly.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, including weekends.
