Job Description
Summary
As a Team Lead in Manufacturing, you will support a Supervisor in overseeing a team of Lab Technicians. You will play a key role in training, resolving issues, and contributing to performance management in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities- Support the Supervisor in managing a team of 45 Lab Technicians.
- Train group members and resolve issues as they arise.
- Contribute to interviewing candidates and providing feedback.
- Support performance management and ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace.
- Adapt to ongoing changes and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 to 3 years of related work experience in production or distribution.
- Experience in optical lab settings is strongly preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Willingness to work with chemicals and lift up to 15 lbs.
- Flexibility to work overtime, possibly including weekends.
