Summary
The Team Manager leads and inspires the store team to deliver an elevated luxury client experience while driving sales and category performance. Working primarily on the selling floor, the role focuses on real-time coaching, clienteling, and executing store strategy. The manager also supports recruitment, onboarding, visual standards, and day-to-day store operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach Client Advisors on the selling floor to ensure exceptional client service and adoption of the Gucci selling ceremony.
- Drive clienteling activities, capture meaningful client data, and implement action plans to meet KPIs.
- Monitor individual and category performance, analyze KPIs, and partner with Store Manager on improvement plans.
- Support and lead local events, product launches, and client development initiatives to drive sales and attendance.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop talent through performance conversations, training follow-up, and regular feedback.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and collaborate with Merchandising and Training teams on product knowledge.
- Manage scheduling, task allocation, and ensure adherence to company policies and loss prevention procedures.
- Oversee stock organization, special order tracking, inventory monitoring, and support opening/closing as Manager on Duty.
Requirements
- 4+ years of sales management experience in retail, luxury retail, or service-related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven ability to deliver superior client experiences and drive measurable sales results.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with digital clienteling tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and business acumen.
- High degree of professionalism, ethics, and ability to inspire and influence a team.
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
