Job Description

Summary

As a Team Manager at Gucci St Louis Plaza Frontenac, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver an unsurpassed luxury service culture in the store. You will be responsible for executing strategy, providing real-time coaching, and achieving business goals while embodying Gucci Values.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the team to execute a superior client experience.
  • Capture meaningful client data to build relationships and personalize client development opportunities.
  • Utilize clienteling tools to drive client loyalty and acquisition.
  • Lead clienteling activities and develop action plans to reach goals and KPIs.
  • Monitor Client Advisor performance and ensure clienteling excellence.
  • Lead and support local events and product launches.
  • Manage client flow and resolve service issues.
  • Model Gucci image through appropriate wardrobe and presence.
  • Develop knowledge of competition and local trends.
  • Provide support and feedback to Client Advisors.
  • Lead performance and development conversations with direct reports.
  • Conduct regular performance conversations and develop action plans.
  • Lead engaging morning briefings and deliver key business communication.
  • Develop cross-category focus and sell all categories.
  • Participate in recruiting new team members and ensure effective onboarding.
  • Manage employee-relations matters with Store Directors and People Partners.
  • Monitor adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor store KPIs and propose action plans to reach targets.
  • Maximize time on the selling floor and motivate team members.
  • Analyze store results and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with Store Director and Merchandising team for feedback on products.
  • Utilize digital platforms to support store and online sales.
  • Oversee tracking of special orders through merchandising communication.
  • Collaborate with Operations, HR, Loss Prevention, and other departments.
  • Plan and consult with Store Director for scheduling and coverage.
  • Allocate tasks based on abilities and delegate effectively.
  • Support visual merchandising standards.
  • Maintain organization of company assets.
  • Support product handling, transactions, and store administration.
  • Support opening and closing of the store as Manager on Duty.
  • Optimize stock management and report risks.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security aspects.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of sales management experience in retail or luxury retail.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • High degree of ethics, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Proven ability to drive positive client experiences.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Industry awareness and strong business acumen.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for the fashion industry.
  • Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
