Job Description

Summary

As a Tech Support Manager in Hardware Asset Management at Nordstrom, you will lead a team of technology professionals to manage the lifecycle of technology hardware assets, delivering significant business value. You will develop cross-functional processes and instill operational efficiencies to optimize team performance, measured through process improvement, effective use of technology, and customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a diverse team of technicians and analysts in the configuration and deployment of hardware assets.
  • Manage team responsibilities and processes to maintain service SLAs and adapt to fluctuating activities.
  • Oversee employee development, performance, and career strategies.
  • Ensure accurate device inventory and implement best practices for asset tracking.
  • Analyze device options to meet business needs and support strategy for stock management.
  • Lead tasks supporting program scope and suggest improvements.
  • Engage in business and technical discussions on asset priorities and objectives.
Requirements
  • 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Prior people-management experience.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders for efficient solutions.
  • Familiarity with inventory management tools; experience with ServiceNow and Coupa is a plus.
  • Experience managing inventory and driving efficiencies based on business needs.
  • Comfortable presenting to stakeholders and leadership.
