Job Description

Summary

The Technical Designer for women's apparel supports product development at the downtown Seattle headquarters in a hybrid role. This position partners cross functionally and with external suppliers to translate design intent into technical specifications and ensure garments meet brand standards and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear tech packs including measurement worksheets and construction images
  • Lead and facilitate fit sessions to evaluate samples against specifications
  • Review samples through development and production to ensure intent is met
  • Communicate fit comments and required corrections to suppliers
  • Collaborate with cross functional peers to align product with development strategies
  • Escalate issues to leadership when necessary to meet business needs
  • Streamline product development and production processes with stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in technical design or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in apparel design manufacturing pattern making or equivalent industry experience
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Detail oriented with commitment to delivering high quality apparel
