Job Description

Summary

As a Technical Manager at Louis Vuitton in Alvarado, TX, you will lead the Maintenance, Technical, and HSE teams, ensuring smooth operations and compliance within our manufacturing environment. You will be a key member of the Texas Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Plant Director, and contributing to the achievement of our manufacturing and quality objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of maintenance, technical, and HSE professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Drive HSE initiatives, risk management strategies, and OSHA compliance to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Implement maintenance programs and continuous improvement practices to enhance production efficiency.
  • Develop investment strategies, track maintenance expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Lead technical advancements, standardize best practices across sites, and collaborate on cross-functional projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant manufacturing/industrial experience.
  • Proven project management experience with a high-growth organization.
  • OSHA compliance knowledge; professional certifications such as OHST, ASP, or CSP are a plus.
  • Leadership and team development skills.
  • Risk assessment and HSE compliance expertise.
  • Process improvement and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) skills.
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
