Job Description

Summary

As a Technicien(ne) Comptable at CHANEL Canada in Candiac, QC, you will ensure the integrity and completeness of accounting and financial information. You will also prepare reliable and timely financial information.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and reconcile accounting transactions between two systems.
  • Contribute to month-end activities.
  • Perform general administrative tasks related to accounting, such as data entry and document preparation.
  • Process supplier and customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments/collections.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements and other financial reports.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an asset.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of AX Dynamics 2012, D365, and/or COUPA is an asset.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
