Job Description

Summary

Lead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Ralph Lauren’s internal networks and retail network infrastructure. Serve as the first point of escalation for network issues, support network engineering design and deployments, and ensure PCI and corporate security compliance. The role requires participation in on-call rotations, occasional after-hours support, and up to 25% domestic and international travel. Part-time telecommuting is permitted.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, wireless systems, firewalls, and related network hardware and software.
  • Monitor network performance, produce detailed reports, and perform trending analysis for proactive issue identification.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors on support, circuit ordering/delivery, and ensure service level compliance.
  • Design and deploy WAN/LAN solutions for retail stores, review POS infrastructure for new store construction, and support global retail network standards.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 escalation support; travel as required for regional/global implementations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, IT, or closely related field and 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with IWAN/SDWAN, network security/firewall devices, multiple WAN circuit types, and internet security/PCI-DSS.
  • Minimum 3 years experience leading global network engineering teams, internet-based telephony, retail network support, and wireless/cellular retail deployments.
  • Ability to work non-business hours, participate in 24/7 on-call support, and travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
