Summary
Hands-on Senior Analyst role focused on customer and behavioral insights to identify drivers of lifetime value and retention. Role involves deep analysis of purchase patterns, cohorts, geographies, product preferences, and engagement signals and communicating actionable findings to business stakeholders. Temporary 3-6 month role with potential to convert and operates on a hybrid schedule based in Tribeca NYC.
Responsibilities
- Analyze purchase behavior including first product, AOV, category mix, gifting versus self, channel, and promo sensitivity to assess impact on LTV and retention
- Identify location store and market attributes correlated with higher value or faster repeat
- Build time-based and cohort views to evaluate cohort performance and changes in LTV drivers over time
- Determine tenure or age points where customers fall off and differences in customers who upgrade tiers
- Chase down data owners and source teams to validate and reconcile data for trusted outputs
- Present concise business-first findings to non-technical partners
- Enrich CRM with behavioral data and integrate digital signals as appropriate
Requirements
- Advanced SQL with 4-6+ years experience including complex joins CTEs and window functions
- Strong customer data background in retail ecommerce or similar
- Experience with Snowflake BigQuery or similar data warehouses
- Comfortable validating reconciling and questioning inconsistent numbers
- Ability to turn vague business questions into structured analysis
- Experience building cohort and time-based analyses
- Familiarity with Tableau Sigma GA4 or Adobe Analytics is a plus
