Summary
Temporary stock associate supporting stock operations and assisting sales and store management. The role reports to the store manager and works closely with internal operations partners to maintain inventory accuracy and store presentation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of stockroom and sales floor to company standards
- Handle shipment dispatch and receipt of product deliveries on a weekly basis
- Report delivery discrepancies to the store manager and operations partners in a timely manner
- Process internal product transfers and customer orders within required timelines
- Prepare and execute weekly product category counts
- Prepare stockroom and sales floor for the annual inventory
- Liaise with operations team to resolve inventory variances and adjustments
- Ensure stockroom and sales floor meet visual standards
- Support sales team on the sales floor when needed and manage store supply orders
Requirements
- At least two years of retail experience, preferably in luxury or contemporary home
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience with shipping programs, inventory management and inventory audits
- Proficient practical knowledge of Excel
- Proactive, team oriented attitude and ability to work independently
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 12 kilograms
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 24 kilograms
