Job Description

Summary

Temporary role driving omnichannel product storytelling and trend vision for product groups, partnering with cross functional leaders and product design to create customer facing concepts. Lead and grow a team of concept associates, ensuring creative excellence, consistency, and alignment to seasonal strategies across channels in a hybrid headquarters setting.

Responsibilities

  • Establish cross category seasonal concept direction and develop category reports.
  • Oversee development of concept reports to ensure accuracy and innovation.
  • Represent concepts in meetings and influence partners on concept, color, and print direction.
  • Partner with Merchants and Design to prioritize trends and share creative ideas.
  • Drive strategy across multiple projects and timelines each season.
  • Research marketplace, fashion and retail trends and incorporate insights into product relevance.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Provide leadership through coaching, performance feedback, and development plans.
  • Own partnerships with cross functional teams and tailor content to their needs.

Requirements

  • 7+ years similar experience in concept, design, or related roles.
  • Strong design and conceptual skills with knowledge of textiles and fabric artwork techniques.
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and capability in Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft tools, and Miro.
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports with demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Strong problem solving and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desire to work collaboratively and build relationships with business partners and team members.
  • College degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field.
