Summary
Temporary seasonal role providing clerical and client service support in a boutique retail environment. Assist sales team with selling process tasks, maintain merchandise and packaging supplies, support after sales activities, and handle phone and customer interactions with professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt friendly greeting and assist clients at point of sale including wrapping and packaging.
- Support sales team by hanging merchandise, returning items to the floor, and retrieving stock.
- Prepare and organize stock room and maintain selling floor merchandise standards.
- Ensure bags, boxes, note cards, ribbons, and stationery are stocked at all times.
- Support client service, concierge, doorperson, and greeter activities.
- Log repairs, contact clients, and maintain after sales records.
- Answer phones in a timely manner and deliver appropriate customer service.
- Lift and handle items up to 25 lbs as needed.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills.
- Customer service oriented with composure in difficult situations.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift between 0 and 25 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to perform retail support tasks with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Available for temporary seasonal work in a boutique retail setting.
