Job Description

Summary

Temporary seasonal role providing clerical and sales support in a luxury boutique. Duties include assisting clients at point of sale, supporting the sales team with merchandise handling, maintaining selling floor standards, and performing after sales administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and provide prompt friendly assistance and answer questions
  • Assist with wrapping and packaging at point of sale
  • Support sales team by hanging merchandise and returning items to the floor
  • Retrieve stock and prepare stock room items for sale
  • Organize and prioritize workstation and selling floor supplies and merchandise
  • Straighten and fill in merchandise to maintain visual standards
  • Support client service activities including logging repairs and contacting clients
  • Answer phones and deliver courteous customer service
  • Assist concierge doorperson and greeter host activities as needed

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills
  • Customer service oriented with a client focused approach
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with composure
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
  • Ability to perform clerical tasks for front and back of house operations
