Summary

The Toy Soldier represents the FAO Schwarz brand and creates memorable, engaging experiences for store guests. This role greets visitors, demonstrates products, leads store events, and participates in social media content while remaining in character.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests, build rapport, and provide an outstanding store experience.
• Lead the daily opening ceremony and serve as a store greeter and local expert.
• Demonstrate products and tailor talking points to different audiences.
• Lead private events or shopping experiences and participate in social media posts and video content.

Requirements

• An engaging, theatrical personality and the ability to remain in character for extended periods.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
• Performance, acting, music, or dance experience is a plus; familiarity with premium or experience-based retail is also a plus.
• Ability to move continuously for 6-8 hours, handle merchandise, and lift items up to 25 pounds occasionally.
