Trade Consultant - Fashion Island

Summary

RH is seeking a Trade Consultant to build and grow a thriving trade business within the Newport Beach Gallery. The role delivers a luxury client experience for trade clientele through product expertise, consultations, and project coordination, working closely with gallery and cross-functional teams to drive sales and achieve fiscal goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated service and product expertise to RH Trade clients via consultations, gallery tours, and site visits
• Partner with the Residential Trade Leader to develop and grow the trade business within the Gallery
• Qualify and cultivate relationships with prospective and existing trade clientele, assisting with project development and installations
• Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams to support project execution and client needs
• Drive sales results and ensure fiscal goals are achieved while maintaining relevancy within the design community

Requirements

• Experience in a high-end furniture showroom, luxury retailer, or design firm with proven trade community relationships
• Strategic, highly organized, results-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Google applications, and experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems
• Basic to proficient ability to interpret and understand floor plans preferred
• Ability to travel locally or out of state and to lift/mobilize items up to 25 lbs while using appropriate equipment
