Job Description

Summary

The Corporate Trainee supports the Women’s RTW Merchandising team for the Americas boutiques in a 12-month full-time program. The role assists with reporting, product tools, competitive market analysis, buying support, and allocation to help execute the merchandising strategy. The Trainee collaborates with retail teams and contributes to projects presented to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain weekly sales reports, store and business recaps, and sell-through analysis
  • Compile and distribute the Merchandising Newsletter and updates for Retail teams
  • Support weekly stock rebalances and day-to-day product inquiries with Boutique teams
  • Manage seasonal launch tools, buy book creation, photo and selling tools, and allocation at store and size level
  • Analyze competitive market activity and prepare monthly recaps
  • Assist with reporting, hindsight end of season analysis, and support for Buying Sessions

Requirements

  • Full-time, 12-month program; must be available M-F 9-6 with Friday WFH
  • At least 6 months prior merchandising or buying work or internship experience; luxury women’s retail experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of retail math and critical metrics
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and ability to operate retail systems and merchandising software
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with ability to meet tight deadlines
