Trainee Visual Merchandising

As a Trainee in Visual Merchandising, you will participate in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for Dior across functional areas. You will support the field Visual team by coordinating and executing a wide variety of administrative duties, contributing to both short and long-term objectives through daily administrative and project work.

• Partner with the field Visual team to schedule display installations, de-rigs, and repairs across the US and Canada.
• Oversee prop inventory movement and integrity, ensuring all items are properly cataloged at Dior’s off-site storage facilities.
• Coordinate shipments with warehouses and maintain accurate tracking and cataloging of all shipments arriving via Headquarters.
• Ship and track Visual samples to Paris and log the use of VM RTW samples.
• Maintain the Visual Merchandising Calendar and manage the Intranet database.
• Post current photos of recent installations and create master PowerPoints of all locations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to achieve various business-related needs.
• Partner closely with the Senior VM Manager of NY Metro to ensure priority tasks are met.

• Full-time, 12-month program with availability M-F, 9-6pm, and Friday work from home.
• At least 6 months of prior experience in an administrative capacity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
• Ability to meet and prioritize fast-paced deadlines while being adaptable.
• Maintain a positive attitude and build strong relationships with the team.
