Upholstery Line Inspector

Summary

The Upholstery Line Inspector checks upholstered pieces during production to ensure they meet quality and product specifications. The role identifies issues for correction and helps resolve recurring quality concerns.

Responsibilities

• Inspect upholstery and trim pieces as they are being built.
• Communicate issues to upholsterers for immediate correction.
• Alert leaders to recurring issues to support root cause identification and resolution.
• Use hand tools and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• Three years of experience in a similar role and knowledge of upholstery products.
• Ability to read production tickets and communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision and maintain attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and lift or move furniture weighing over 100 pounds while following safety guidelines.
