Upholstery Stager

Summary

Receive incoming parts and supplies, match frames cushions sewing bundles poly kits and other components then stage them at the correct upholstery line per production specifications. Perform material handling tasks including loading and unloading trucks and assist other areas as needed to support production flow.

Responsibilities

• Safely move frames cushions and other furniture production components to appropriate areas
• Read production tickets and match frames with cushions sewn fabric or leather bundles and poly kits
• Stage frames and all component parts to the next operation or correct upholstery line for production
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Perform scanning and basic data entry to track items in the production system
• Maintain consistent attendance punctuality and attention to detail
• Support other duties outside the staging area as required

Requirements

• At least 0.5 years prior experience in a similar role and knowledge
• Able to read production tickets
• Basic computer skills to access production system and scan items
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
• Ability to safely lift carry push pull or grip up to 100 lbs
• Ability to stand walk use hands and reach with hands and arms during work
