Upholstery Stager

Summary

The Upholstery Stager receives and organizes production components, matching frames, cushions, fabric or leather bundles, and other supplies to production tickets. This role stages complete sets of components at the appropriate upholstery line or next operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely move furniture frames, cushions, and other production components to the appropriate area.
• Read production tickets and match frames with cushions, sewn fabric or leather bundles, poly kits, and other required components.
• Stage frames and components for the next operation or correct upholstery line.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

• At least six months of experience in a similar role and related knowledge.
• Ability to read production tickets and use basic computer systems to access production information and scan items.
• Effective communication, multitasking, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail, consistent attendance, and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, and lift, carry, push, pull, or grip up to 100 pounds.
