Summary
This 18-month VIE assignment will support a transformation from a monthly to a weekly planning cadence within Industrial Planning. The role will assess current processes, identify gaps, design future-state processes, and support implementation across planning, manufacturing, supply chain, and IT. The position is based in-person at the corporate headquarters in New York and requires full-time commitment.
Responsibilities
- Assess end-to-end current monthly planning and order placement processes, including governance, data flows, decision points, and systems usage.
- Map current-state and future-state planning processes to enable a weekly planning cadence.
- Identify operational gaps, bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies across process, data, systems, and ways of working.
- Analyze planning parameters, order placement logic, and planning horizons to improve responsiveness.
- Partner with Industrial Planning, Inventory Planning, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and IT to gather requirements and align on changes.
- Support definition of business requirements for system and tool enhancements and contribute to testing and adoption.
- Prepare analyses, dashboards, presentations, and documentation to support governance, decision-making, and implementation.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex processes and data into clear recommendations; proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
- First experience via internship or apprenticeship in supply chain, planning, operations, consulting, or project management preferred; familiarity with ERP/MRP or planning tools a plus.
- Organized, rigorous, able to manage multiple workstreams and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders; fluent in English.
- VIE program eligibility: ages 18-28, French or EU citizen, available to work in New York for the full 18-month program, in good standing with national service obligations, available to start January 4, 2027, and able to commit full time to the assignment.
