VIP Sample Assistant (Temporary)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the New York showroom and physical trafficking of all samples both domestically and internationally
• Assist in NY fittings
• Assist with dressing requests and prep work for fittings i.e. pulling product, organizing tailoring etc.
• Responsible for packing, scheduling, and monitoring sample deliveries via messenger & shipping couriers
• Execute product pulls from retail stores for placement
• Order showroom supplies i.e. garment bags, hangers, shopping bags and boxes
• Assist with product mailings and giftings
• Gift wrap and organize deliveries of VIP mailing send outs, special gifts, etc.
• Responsible for all shipments into and out of the NY office
• Responsible for daily shipments domestically and shipments to international offices
• Unpack all shipments and check-in product
• Write proforma invoices and liaison with internal invoicing team for approval for international shipments
• Support with department reports and documents
• Assist with creating and updating sample trafficking documents
• Maintain and update logs related to product, including a gifting, store inventory, shipping and tailoring log
• Support with working on various presentations and special projects, including but not limited to talent bios and comprehensive competitor reports

• Able to work in the New York Corporate Office in person Monday-Friday
• Must be organized and detail oriented
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Able to multitask
• Demonstrates ability to follow-up on projects

• Able to handle time sensitive projects
• Collaborative and eager to learn
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint and Excel) and FashionGPS (not required, but preferred)

Expected base salary for the role will generally be between $21.00 and $23.00 per hour at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
