Job Description

Summary

The Vice President - Controller will lead the global accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, and internal controls. This role partners with senior management and business leaders and drives ERP and group reporting system integrations aligned with the LVMH roadmap. The VP will build and manage the accounting team and oversee implementation of accounting policies and standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership over global accounting, financial reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, and related systems.
  • Oversee accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead development and remediation of internal controls, policies, and accounting processes.
  • Act as key stakeholder for integration of accounting principles and reporting systems into the LVMH ecosystem.
  • Manage and develop the accounting organization to meet deliverables and support business needs.
  • Collaborate with global finance peers and cross‑functional stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience as an accounting leader and business partner in complex organizations, with retail industry experience.
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, revenue recognition, payroll, and internal controls.
  • Strong analytical, business acumen, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, develop, coach, and lead teams.
  • Experience with ERP implementations and reporting system integrations; proficiency in French preferred.
