Summary
Senior enterprise leader responsible for global demand planning, replenishment, allocation, and inventory optimization across Retail, Online, and Wholesale channels. Drives forecasting accuracy, planning transformation, and cross-functional alignment with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and commercial partners. Leads strategy, systems implementation, and a global planning organization to improve availability, protect margin, and support growth.
Responsibilities
- Set vision and lead the global demand planning function, defining processes, tools, and capabilities for world-class forecasting accuracy.
- Develop short- and long-term demand forecasts across channels, categories, and locations, with focus on core assortments.
- Lead replenishment and allocation strategy to optimize inventory across stores, DCs, and channels.
- Create purchase plans and inventory parameters to align supply with forecasted demand and targets.
- Implement advanced analytics, automation, and planning platforms to enhance forecasting and allocation precision.
- Establish KPIs, governance, and reporting to monitor forecast accuracy, inventory health, and in-stock performance.
- Lead Integrated Business Planning and S&OP processes, aligning demand with financial planning.
- Partner with Merchandising, Retail, Vendor Management, and Supply Chain on launches, promotions, and delays.
- Build and mentor a high-performing global planning team and champion change management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 12+ years progressive experience in demand planning, forecasting, replenishment, or supply chain with at least 5 years leading global planning organizations.
- Proven experience in multi-channel retail, luxury or fashion preferred, with track record improving forecast accuracy and inventory optimization.
- Expertise with planning platforms such as SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, o9, Toolio or equivalents.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial skills to translate data into actionable insights.
- Deep knowledge of inventory planning principles including safety stock, reorder points, and lifecycle forecasting.
- Experience leading system implementations and AI/ML forecasting initiatives.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to drive transformation, continuous improvement, and adoption of modern planning methodologies.
