Summary
Lead the development and execution of the integrated marketing and communications strategy for the Americas, reporting to the CEO of the Americas. Oversee brand messaging, public relations, VIP relations, events, and crisis communications while partnering with Corporate HQ and regional stakeholders. Manage a team of direct reports and align communications initiatives with business priorities across channels and markets.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the integrated marketing and communications strategy for the Americas region
- Oversee brand messaging, storytelling, and content adaptation across website, retail, newsletters, and internal channels
- Drive regional public relations strategy to secure editorial visibility and manage media relations
- Lead crisis and sensitive communications to protect brand reputation
- Manage VIP relations and celebrity engagement to secure high-value visibility
- Plan and execute regional events including Fashion Week presentations and campaign launches
- Organize showroom appointments, press interviews, and special events for flawless execution
- Manage the communications and events budget and align strategies with regional VPs
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of direct reports
Requirements
- At least 10 years of public relations experience with prior director-level experience
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Established senior-level editorial and publishing contacts
- Detail oriented with strong multitasking abilities
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently meet goals and deadlines
- Ability to take initiative and perform tasks self-sufficiently
- Willingness to travel for shows and events as needed
