Job Description

Summary

As the Vice President, US Retail - North at Gucci, you will play a pivotal leadership role within the Retail Management team, based in New York City. You will be responsible for challenging stores to deliver exceptional results and provide the highest standard of customer service. Your mission will include defining and executing strategic action plans to control KPIs and clienteling activities, while overseeing corporate functions that support the retail business.

Responsibilities
  • Drive and maximize sales performance to achieve sales budget objectives.
  • Motivate and support store management teams in implementing company strategies.
  • Conduct regular store visits to evaluate management, merchandise, and processes.
  • Develop store and process enhancements as needed.
  • Manage financial sustainability by controlling P&L levers.
  • Analyze sales trends and develop strategic action plans.
  • Guide managers in achieving CRM targets and tier-growth strategies.
  • Partner with marketing to ensure stores are on track with growth goals.
  • Monitor clienteling metrics to achieve desired benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with Store Directors, Finance, and Business Planning on budgets and forecasts.
  • Promote brand awareness and capture market share.
  • Monitor store management teams and provide feedback.
  • Partner with HR on employee relations and performance management.
  • Attract, recruit, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Ensure consistent onboarding and training for new hires.
  • Drive accountability with corporate business partners.
Requirements
  • 15+ years in store management with regional role experience.
  • Proven track record in clienteling activities.
  • High degree of ethics and integrity.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Experience collaborating with multiple teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strategic focus and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to assess needs and provide high-quality service.
