Video Editor Intern - E-Comm

Summary

Paid 9-week summer internship based in New York focused on e-commerce video editing. The role supports the video team with assistant editor tasks, asset management, and color and retouching practices while providing mentorship and professional development for students currently enrolled in related undergraduate programs.

Responsibilities

• Ingest and tag daily footage
• Manage assets, setup projects, and maintain organization and archiving best practices
• Perform assistant editor level edits and assembly or stringouts
• Apply light color work with emphasis on product color and retouching
• Follow color best practices within the company workflow
• Collaborate with the video team and report to the Video Editor
• Participate in networking, mentorship, and scheduled learning events

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate studies in Film and Video Production with minimum 3.0 GPA
• Working experience with DaVinci Resolve preferred
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Media Encoder
• Familiarity with Flame or Nuke is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, eager to learn, collaborative, with strong written and verbal communication skills
