Summary
Paid 9-week summer internship based in New York City for students and emerging professionals to gain hands-on experience in video production for luxury jewelry. Interns will work closely with video production teams on tabletop, still life, and model shoots while learning studio operations and post production workflows.
Responsibilities
- Assist in tabletop still life and model shoots supporting video production
- Collaborate with lighting camera and post production teams to develop image making skills
- Support setup organization and maintenance of the video studio and in house equipment
- Aid in production of eCommerce and advertising video assets
- Maintain and organize lighting and camera equipment and the equipment room
- Assist lighting and camera departments on shoots
- Help manage equipment transport and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Participate in mentorship and networking events as part of the program
Requirements
- Currently enrolled undergraduate student in Film Media Production Communications or Media Studies with minimum 3.0 GPA
- Proficient knowledge of professional cinema cameras such as RED and Arri
- On set lighting experience for location and studio shoots
- Basic understanding of Luminair Adobe Suite Davinci Resolve and Creative Force
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive collaborative eager to learn with excellent written and verbal communication
